Simmons® mattress / boxspring: 10-year limited warranty

All Simmons® mattresses and box springs are covered by a 10-year limited warranty. This warranty only covers product defects of a structural and manufacturing nature. Warranty period starts on the delivery date of the product. During the first two years of the warranty period, Simmons will, at its discretion, replace a defective product for free. From the third to the tenth year, a replacement fee will be charged, at the number of years of ownership times one tenth of the prevailing official retail price. Under the warranty period, transportation cost for delivering the replacement will be borne by the customer.

In case an identical model or material is not available, Simmons reserves the right to substitute a comparable model or material, and the price difference shall be borne by the customer.

How to take care of your Simmons® Pocketed Coil Mattress?
Procedures for Flipping & Turning Simmons® Two-sided Mattress
Most Simmons® mattresses are built with a single-sided design. A Simmons® single-sided mattress does not have to be flipped. For Simmons® two-sided mattresses, please refer to the following procedures for flipping and rotating.
Simmons® Single-sided No-Flip Mattress
The mattress is built with a single-sided design. Rotating the mattress every 60 days is recommended for relieving the continued compression on the upholstery. The mattress does not have to be flipped.
Mattress care instructions that can help preserve warranty rights
Do:
  • Do use a supportive, rigid, non-yielding foundation. Your mattress may become sagged if a non-supportive foundation is used.

  • Do use foundation that can fully support the centre, front, end and sides of the mattress.

  • Do use a quilted mattress pad on your mattress at all times to avoid stains.

DO NOT:
  • Do not remove the white law label or the model name label. These labels serve as a means of identification to establish your warranty rights.

  • Do not bend or fold, stand or jump on the mattress as damage can occur.

  • Do not use cleaning fluids on your mattress; it may damage some of the materials.

This warranty does not apply to and excludes:
Firmness preference of the product.
• Normal body impression(s) of 38 mm (~1.5") or less.
• A product that is soiled, burnt, stained or has received obvious abuse or improper care,  such as sitting on the product’s edges, folding, setting upright, bending, standing or jumping on the product.
• Cover (fabric), bent border / grid wires
• Mattress handles. The handles are designed for positioning the mattress only. Never use the handles to support the weight of the mattress.
• A mattress not used with a proper foundation. 
• Examples of an improper foundation include net or slat type bed frame, a foundation of a different size, and a foundation that provides inadequate support to the mattress etc.
• Claims made outside Hong Kong or Macau.
• Transportation, inspection or removal cost of product.
How to get Simmons® Warranty Service?
The warranty of Simmons® adjustable bed only covers product defects which are of structural and manufacturing nature on mattress, main computer and remote control. The warranty period of mattress is 3 years, both main computer and remote control is 1 year.

Within the warranty period, Simmons® will repair or replace your defective Simmons® adjustable bed with no charge, exclusive of transportation cost.

After the warranty period, all the requests for inspection, repairing and exchange on parts will be charged subject to quotation.
1. Keep the sales invoice and the warranty letter in original.
2. Call our Customer Service Hotline on (852) 2378 4848 when service is needed.
3. Present the sales invoice and warranty letter to our Service Personnel at the time of service.


What is excluded from our limited Warranty?
• The base, wire and plug.
• Mattress that is soiled, burnt, stained or has received obvious abuse or improper care.
• Normal body impression of 38 mm (~1.5 “) or less.
• Firmness preference of the product.
• Cover (Fabric) and parts of Mattress and Bed Base
• Product shipped out of the region of purchase.

Coverage

5-year warranty is available on steel structures foam, plastic parts, woodwork or manufacturing defects.


Damages arose from abnormal household usage or induced by natural / artificial light exposure is excluded from our warranty service. Normal wear and tear after aging are also excluded.

Charge
We provide FREE service on inspection, repair and part replacement in the first year upon purchase. From the 2nd to 5th year, HK$200 per inspection and HK$200 per repair service will be charged. Additional charges will be applied if parts replacement is necessary, subject to quotation.
Warranty Service
When service is needed, please contact our customer service team through hotline or email. To make the warranty valid, both the sales invoice and warranty card must be kept and presented at service.
